he bikes all over the house,
including into :
the bathroom
(a place ever-so-frustrating to exit),
the kitchen
(to roscoe's dismay and utter confusion),
or the playroom
(only to be halted by his train table).

our favorite stop on the Tour De Stroesslerland
is the book basket in the living room.
he pulls right up,
selects the latest sandra boynton
or ABCDs installment,
and reads.

ABCDs

tubby time is more like swimming hour for shu.
he's always a little sleepy
(and, in this case, hiccup-y) afterwards.
particularly when wrapped up in his Cubbie towel.

however,
there is always time for a quick snippet of the alphabet.
or, as shua puts it, "my ABCDs."

and, apparently, a teacher as well.

after watching spud,
shua came up with this trick all on his own.

51 seconds in the life...

snowfall

we've had a bit of snow
out here in stroesslerland,
and we couldn't be happier.

at least,
we couldn't when we went out and played this past weekend.

five days, several more inches & a looming forecast for more, well...
the dog may be the only one still geeked out.
